Swim Lessons
We offer a variety of swim lessons to accommodate the needs of everyone!
All swim lessons are held in our outdoor pool.
Four - 1 hour lessons
Time: Set up between Student and Instructor
Cost: Y-Members $80 Non-Members $100

Eight - 40 minute lessons
Cost: Y-Members $30 Non-Members $40
3 Different Swim Levels
Pike (recommended starting age: 3)
Parents may be a part of this class. Instruction includes introduction to basic water skills, blowing bubbles, putting their head under water, kicking and paddling. The goal by the end of the lessons is independent swimming with the aid of a float along with the socialization in a class environment.
Eel (recommended starting age:5)
This level is for children who can swim independent from the instructor, but still need the assistance of a float. Stroke development is emphasized and children will begin to swim further distances unassisted. Deep water skills are also introduced. The goal by the end of the lesson is to be able to swim unassisted half the pool length.
Polliwog (recommended starting age: 6-12)
This level is for children who are able to swim unassisted without a float. Children learn the fundamentals of swimming and water safety with increased stroke development and endurance building as the class progresses. Skills that are introduced are breath control, basic floats, freestyle, front crawl, rotary breathing and the backstroke. The goal by the end of the lessons is to be able to swim the length of the pool and float 10 seconds unassisted.
